All-Natural Popsicles To Beat The Heat

Here are some easy, refreshing all-natural popsicle recipes to make this summer to beat the heat! These popsicles are healthier than store-bought ones where you will see a lot of unnatural additives. Using natural sweeteners is important when making treats at home and these popsicles will satisfy any sweet craving. Get yourself a popsicle mold this summer and get creative with your recipes!


Fresh Orange Popsicles

Recipe makes 10 popsicles.

Ingredients:

  • 2 carrots
  • 3 cups fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 4 tbsp natural maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Fill a small pot with water and place on the stove over medium heat. Once boiling, add the carrots and boil until cooked through. Drain and set aside.
  2. Add the carrots, orange juice and maple syrup to a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into popsicle mold, insert popsicle stick and transfer to the freezer to set. Enjoy!

Tropical Popsicle Treats

Recipe makes 6 servings.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk (from a can)

Directions:

  1. Blend fruit and 3/4 cup of the coconut milk in a blender until smooth.
  2. Transfer fruit mixture into popsicle molds and top with the remaining coconut milk.
  3. Insert popsicle sticks and transfer to the freezer to set. Enjoy!

Green Tea Popsicles

Recipe makes 6 popsicles.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brewed green tea (strong) – you can use your favourite tea blend here instead!
  • 1 tbsp honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon zest (optional)

Directions:

  1. Mix the green tea, honey and lemon juice together.
  2. Pour into popsicle molds and top with lemon zest.
  3. Insert popsicle stick and transfer to the freezer to set. Enjoy!

Chocolate Fudge Popsicles

Recipe makes 6 popsicles.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp natural almond butter
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender until smooth and transfer to popsicle molds.
  2. Insert popsicle stick and transfer to the freezer to set. Enjoy!
